The Disciples of Soul are the Midlands Ultimate Party Band, now consisting of two sensational vocalists, three power horns and stunning back – line, keep the tradition firmly focused on high energy classic ‘Soul with Attitude’ along with funk and 70’s Disco.

The Disciples of Soul are undoubtedly one of the UK’s top Soul-Funk bands both musically and visually and no doubt the UK’s leading ‘Ultimate Party Machine’.

Some of their repertoire includes hits from the king of soul James Brown, The Commitments and other unforgettable hits such as; Sweet Soul Music, Brown Eyed Girl, Queen of Clubs, Proud Mary, Lifting me Higher. With their infectious repertoire this band will guarantee an occasion to remember from corporate events, private functions, weddings and universities you can book with confidence.

The Disciples of Soul have been performing to full houses across the UK and Ireland, having recently returned from The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival for the 7th consecutive year. Other notable gigs have included regular appearances at Jools Holland's Jam House, Richard Branson's private island and also being voted top band of The Soul Weekend at Butlins for two years in a row (2001 & 2002).

The Disciples of Soul have extensive experience performing in many different kinds of venue from Bars to Stately Homes to 3000 capacity venues such as the International Convention Centre in Birmingham. This has involved many different kinds of event from Corporate Functions and Weddings to Private Parties and Festivals.
