Groovestar

Groovestar is a professional and experienced band, designed especially with corporate events and weddings in mind. Musicians have been drawn from the Midlands session circuits to form this top of the range function band. Having played for some of the countries top recording and touring artists, the Rhythm Babies have been carefully selected to form a dynamic, elite fusion of extreme musical standards and good old fashioned entertainment!

The band is fronted by vocalist Katherine Nightingale, who has entertained audiences nation-wide for many prestigious events and clients. From product launches to corporate Christmas parties, weddings to birthday parties. The band has also performed for a number of celebrity clients.

British American Tobacco, BMW, Mazda, British American Racing, TGI Fridays, London Boatshow, Vacs Hoovers, Warwickshire College

The band is available as a 5 piece band which features female lead vocals, bass (who also provides a male lead vocal and backing vocals), guitar, keyboards and drums (also with vocals).

The band specialise in party music, playing hits from the 50’s all the way up to present day party hits, including disco hits from ‘Sophie Ellis Bextor’ to high energy soul hits from artistes such as Aretha Franklin, Beverley Knight, Diana Ross. The band generally perform a mix of all these types of music, but on request can perform themed sets such as a 70’s disco set, a soul and motown set or a rock pop se.

The band come fully equipped with a PAT tested sound system, which can be adapted for different audiences of up to 1000 guests, and a lighting rig for the stage and the dance floor.

Rhythm Babies play-list has been carefully selected from the combined experience of every band member. This guarantees that every song you hear has been tried and tested and is sure to please the guests at your event.

The bands base price includes 2 x 45. This can be made up from any of the songs shown below. This means the band can tailor-make their performance to suit your audience.

Should you wish the band to play for longer, they can provide an extra set for a small extra cost. This can either be one of the suggested 'optional extra' sets (see optional extras page) or another 60 minute set from the list below.
